The article is devoted to the problems of the word accentuation of the Western-Polissian dialect of the Ukrainian language. The analysis was based on dialectical material the basic tendencies in accentuation of the Western-Polissian dialect of the Ukrainian language are established. The analysis of the collected material allowed to determine the type of constant accent and types of shifting accent. Distribution of the word accentuation of the Western-Polissian dialect of the Ukrainian language is relevant sign for typology of local dialects.
